Must be well over 10 years since Jimmy McGoverns last series of Cracker . Imo it was a very well done and watchable tv series with Robbie Coltrane playing the lead part as criminal psycologist Fitz. The other characters Lorcan Cranitch( beck ) and Geraldine Sommerville were also very good. Not sure if any of the original cast apart from RC are in it this time, but if its half as good as it was in the early 90's then it will be well worth a look.

I don't really like coltrane TBH, I've never watched an episode of Cracker because of this, I may be something special, but I'll cope.

I think only the excellent Barbara Flynn (plus Coltrane) from the previous cast are in it. If I remember rightly, the Beck character died in the last series.

Yes. I heard an interview with Robbie Coltrane recently, and he said McGovern always planned to do another one when an issue came up which he felt hot under the collar about. I believe this storyline relates to the current Middle East situation.
