I remember the days when we were deadly at set pieces now we really are wasting a lot of chances.

Agree, one area where we really need to work on, is our set pieces at both end of the pitch. IMO we are very poor, the delivery is tame what about trying to whip them in with pace into and around the six yard box, we either try the dink to the near post or tamely float one into the far post, either way they are the easiest to defend. Lets try a few whipped with pace.

In our set pieces hey day you had Elliott, Tags, Bruno, Marshall etc etc. Add to that the quality of Izzet and Guppy with the crosses.

The days when Muzzy was a must in your fantasy football team due to the number of goals and assists he got. And when everybody had Matty or Taggs in their side. Great days.

I think you've hit the nail on the head Pontus! when we had Muzzy and Guppy you had both the right footed and left footed option. Nowadays we don't seem to have the left footer who can whip in a decent ball?!

I think its more to do with the fact we dont have any real headers of the ball! Hence why we are struggling to defend corners as well. :icon_cry: Its been a problem all season!
