I lent him the use of Hulio as he said he wanted to post his 20,000 post on his 2 year annivesary. He realised that date fell on a Sunday so posted his 'piece' early.

IMO that 20,000 post speach isn't a signing off speach so something has made him decide to leave since or around that time.

Well he did just get 20,000 posts! A number that I will never achieve, nor seek to achieve. He is entitled to a small congratulatory acknowlegement for providing so many hours of joy in an otherwise work filled day.
