I remember losing 5-0 against Bolton. This was almost as bad.

I truly do not want my team to lose. It is an act of desperation and genuinely one that I feel is in the best interests of the club.

Of course we'll never know for sure, but this could well be the result that saves us from what I have seen as an inevitable free fall.

I refuse to attend another City game managed by this clown. And he is a totally useless clown.

He's got to go and go now.

It is worth remembering that we lost 5-0 although we have a much more talented squad than Palace.

I remember us getting utterly humiliated under Sousa - against Portsmouth I think. I felt at the time this was a good thing as nobody could make excuses for that performance and Sousa would be out.

Does anybody know if Vichai and Top were at the match?

You see, if either of these were likely to be the replacement, I'd agree BUT, I doubt that Wenger will manage in the Premier League (He's too close to Arsenal to manage against them) and Benitez is likely to remain at Newcastle.

I think if we sack him we've got to go for one of those. Otherwise I don't see the point. I don't see the appeal of more 'realistic' targets like Silva, Brendan Rogers or Wagner who have either been tried elsewhere and failed or achieved **** all of any worth to us. It'd be as much of a risk as it would keeping Puel in.

Horrible to open up the forum and see a thread with this title. Horrendous. David’s reference to that 6 goal drubbing by Portsmouth is a good one, as that was going through my mind today.

The squad is full of good players. The key is getting a good manager who knows how to get the best out of then. Anybody that tries to get Danny Simpson overlapping his winger doesn't understand how to manage players. I am a PE teacher. If the head of my school told me to teach music he would not be utlising my strengths and would surely expect poor results. Puel is clueless.

Puel must be the supply teacher, who teaches music?

I agree with Feriol We have the look and feel of Sunderland for the last two seasons, They have tried new managers but the rot is much deeper, and I fear the same at City.
Not sure where to turn, but certainly some players need to be and should have been already offloaded, ie Morgan, Albrighton, Chilwell, Gray. The new signings must be thoroughly pissed off
(with the exception of Maguire and Ndid) , Why have we bought so many with seemingly no intention of playing them? The problem in the dressing room since Claudio seems to be still unresolved.
