Eight games to go, eight cup finals to win. Five points clear of second spot - Spurs.

Our record v Palace is:

Won 24
Draw 17
Lost 23

In the last 10 meetings we have w3, d2 and l5.

Palace are in free fall at the moment having not won a league game in 2016, so we won't have a better opportunity than this.

We were a bit jittery against Newcastle and perhaps were guilty of overplaying or overthinking what we were trying to do.

Spurs play Bournemouth at home.
Arsenal are away to Everton.
Man City play Man Utd at Okd Trafford.

A nice win for us and no win for the three teams below us would be nice and could open up an 8 point gap to Spurs.

Come on Citeh!!

same team same attitude same committment will bring something fromthis game. As the pressure increases we may prefer away games which would suit our counter attacking style. IMO performance standards have dipped slightly recently but at this stage of the eseason its points only that matter. Vardy is due a goal, this could be the game, im going for a third consequtive 1-0 win Vardy

Let us hope that Bournemouth can get a result at Spurs and we beat Palace.

That 8 point cushion would then be immense.

Spurs would then have to win 3 more games than we do, which will be a big ask with only 7 games left!

If you think English Spurs fans are unbearable, there is a debate raging right now on a Swedish Spurs forum about whether they'd rather win the league playing the cynical, boring football of Leicester or finish second playing The Spurs Way. Yes, seriously.

Same team as ever. COYF!

Does "The Spurs Way" they love also include fire-bombing adjacent business premises and bugging other clubs offices?

I'm gonna take Vardy out my fantasy team for this one so he should hopefully score in this one now.

Pardew was livid after Palace lost the reverse fixture at the KP. He has a long memory and remember... we still have to play them at theirs. This'll be his cup final!
