Has Henry the Horn died? I thought it was common opinion that he was responsible for the poor form

That form table looks good, especially with Crewe, Brighton, Millwall and Sheff W all in the bottom half.

To pull away from the drop zone at all was a great achievement, to pull away so far so quickly is beyond belief.

....the opposition has stopped scoring wonder goals

(well that's one of the reasons Levein gave for losing 7 in a row)

I agree, if someone at the end of Jan had said where we would be in 8 games time, you'd have said they were having a larf. Todays results takes a lot of pressure off the Millwall game.

One man and his backroom team, Rob Kelly has galvanised what was clearly a talented squad and has got them playing with passion and commitment and now our talent is starting to shine through. The turnaround has been a miracle.

One thing to give Levein credit for - bringing in Matty Fryatt.

However Levein wouldn't have played him alongside Hume EVERY GAME which has allowed a partnership to develop, rather than chop and change and giving the strikers no confidence whatsoever. That's one of the most important things RK has done.

It took a hell of a long time for the board (and some posters here - do you recall anything HF?) to realise that Levein was one of the very worst managers that we have had the misfortune to suffer. I've see them all - back to Norman Bullock - and, in fact, I would rate Levein as possibly THE worst. Even Mclintock had extenuating circumstances in terms of inheriting a worn out squad and he was operating in the top tier. Even the blabber from Bryan Hamilton and Gordon Milne's awful transfer dealings were not as bad as the totally dead hand of Levein. I would even rate the dreaded Bassett as a better manager.

What a pity that most of the season has been wasted by bad judgement in sticking with Levein.

In defence of Craig Leiven, i think he can spot a good player; he just didn't know how to use them.

Has anyone noticed though how poor the opposition is at the moment. After our games their managers have said "We're very dissapointed in the way we played". I think that is down to the way we are stopping other teams from playing. We're no longer letting other sides have free run of the park.

They way things are going with RK, the press will be shouting for him as the next England manager....

Do you take some kind of pleasure out of 'trying' to humiliate people? Make you feel good does it? :102: :icon_roll

If you been going to the matches all season, you would soon realise that there have been many poor teams this season down at Walkers. In fact I've been to a number of away matches and the opposition hasn't been brilliant. I think the difference now is that we competing for everything and playing with a bit of passion. Not chopping and changing the team has helped to create a good team spirit again.
