The Club can confirm that Curtis Davies has linked up today with Leicester City on a month-long loan.

The 25-year-old defender will be available for the Foxes' Championship game against Hull tomorrow at the Walkers Stadium.

I agree with Durham that it would have been nice to have him for more than the initial month. Hopefully it's a case of us kicking the tyres with a view to a longer deal and not simply an extended Villa training session.

Seems a bit odd.. usually month loans are done to cover injuries etc.
