Pretty sure they have to be cleared by 12noon on the Friday to be eligible for a Saturday 3pm game. They might've changed it to 5pm, but almost certain he can't play today

Why would that be the case? We loan a player we literally never use and buy one in that looks more like cover for Kante than anything else.
