Or Schmeichel goes for £40m at the end of August and we’re stuffed.

He might not still be here then if he were to let Mahrez and Schmeichel and/or Maguire go on his watch!

Can't blame anyone wanting to leave after the last part of the season.

Even long termers

If there's any truth in the rumours about Kasper not wanting to play for Puel, this may well the case for others too.

Let's hope this isn't the case and I guess time will tell.

Ultimately, we’ll probably be able to tell pretty quickly which way things will go. I don’t think it’ll take half the season to know where we are, as the first half dozen games will set the tone. Puel is clearly a divisive manager, among the fan base, so he’ll need us to hit the season running, despite spending a fair bit on new players.

Another callow, young player coming into a squad and manager under pressure. If we replace Kasper with this guy we’ve lost yet another leader on the pitch.

If we lose Kasper in addition to Mahrez and the marginalization of Shinji and Big Wes it’ll only raise my disdain for Puel more. With the exception of Evans (who let’s be honest has shown some questionable leadership judgment in his past) he’s replaced experienced and proven premier league footballers with either inexperienced youngsters or players with no premier league experience. And this into a bit of a dodgy environment that could easily turn sour with a bad start.

I know I’m supposed to enjoy the ride, but I think this has been an awful summer so far for Leicester. Nothing would make me happier than being proven wrong.

This is starting to look like a squad you’d build in championship manager.

I genuinely cannot begin to imagine how you've come to such a ludicrous conclusion. We lost Mahrez, a player who has wanted out for two years, in a deal that was always going to happen despite who was in charge and we have bought in a fantastic, creative player in Maddison who I and many others have seen play and are thoroughly impressed by, a very experienced, proven, talented centre back for a snip, an international right back who comes highly regarded by some and a young goalkeeper who many thought would have been promoted to be Liverpool's first choice this season. On top of this, we've got cash to spend, may well be selling Musa for more than we paid for him and if press reports are to be believed, we have a fingers in other pies as well. It's certainly not an 'awful' summer.

You do remember the summer when we our best signing was Ricky Scimeca don't you?

Welcome Danny, whatever some are saying, I'm sure there is a plan. I seem to remember that Kasper's career was revived when he came here from the dirty ones.

Working on the assumption that this is mad biker, from here many moons ago, I thought that this was quite interesting, from FT.

Apparently Ward is unfit and has a poor training ethic. Liverpool wanted him out because of his fitness attitude.

Is he shit and injury prone as well?

Should provide Kasper with the standard of competition that he's used too.

Was this because he played well for Huddersfield, went back to Liverpool expecting/ told he'd be higher up the pecking order.
Saw he wasn't, also saw mistakes made by the senior 2, but still couldn't get a game, so got the mardys.

Or it could be all complete bollox ;)

I strongly suspect the latter.
