Haven't had much time to be on here recently so sorry if this repeats someone else's post. But doesn't this quote from RK sound familiar (i.e Levein circa Dec 2005)

"It probably needs a goal to go in off someone's backside," he said. "But if we keep getting into the areas, keep being brave and putting ourselves in those positions that will make us score, then it will come.

"We are creating chances. We put in 15 crosses against Hull, that's a lot and does not include corners.

"So what we have to do is keep putting the ball in and keep getting into those areas.

"I have looked at the game again and a goal changes everything. You can't legislate for the type of goal Hull scored.

"When I have looked at it, things were not radically wrong.

"The hardest thing in football is scoring goals. At the moment, from the opportunities we are creating, we are not putting the ball in the net."

I had over 500 on us to beat Hull, I thought it was a certain banker.

yup, certainly looks like weve got to bet wisely from now on. in other words against leicester every week

so what do I get back for 1 vc?

You should make sure you don't get left with less than v£20. I'm sure Webbo only gives you a new v£20 to start again with if you are absolutely skint.

I liked Kelly's 'we'll work hard on the training ground to put it right' excuse from the OS, took me back to the Adams era.

Shouldn't the time to work hard be when the ref blows the whistle for kick off? :102:
Spot on, LeeH. If someone can't give it their all for an hour and a half once or twice a week for us, they should be shown the door. Trouble is, we'd not have enough left to field a team!
