Yes, this season at the beginning DD was literally holding us together, recently he has been out of position or partnered with Amartey or King.
Sadly for King he is much more of an attacking midfielder who arrives late in the box, he struggles to manipulate the game in the middle of tge park.
You're making excuses for him.

If Danny Drinkwater can't play in a 3 man midfield in this era of football he might as well retire

I have no clue whatsoever what team we should, or will, play for this game.

I'd start with the players attitudes and work from there. On that basis, the likes of Drinkwater, Fuchs and Vardy would be nowhere near the side just now. They're all looking, and playing, like they don't want to be on the pitch.

We need to build up a solid foundation with players showing the right mental approach and go from there. Who they are? Feck knows.

I can see Mahrez on the bench.

Mahrez shouldn't be anywhere near being considered for this game

Would be utter madness

True. but I believe he'll be on the bench nevertheless.

We've had 2 defenders on the bench recently, 1 of them could be left out

It really isn't Drinkwater gets far more praise than he deserves and King far more criticism than he deserves, truth is they are at about the same level but do different roles
I concur. Remember King's recent goal against Man City.

At the expense of Kaputska

If necessary. Kaputska is one for the future but he's showed less than at least 4 wingers so far.

Not at all and to suggest King is a better option is lamentable !

I'll agree with you there. Drinky is an excellent midfielder, King is a good championship level midfielder imo.

What the absolute blue blazing feck is that ?
