Our team is fcuking crap. We have one player, Ian Hume, who may score a goal and win a match for us and that's it. The defence is fine for this league and in midfield possibly Williams is good enough. I say possibly because he's been here three seasons now and so far he hasn't been the answer.
Why the fcuk do we have Andy Welsh on loan. Lee Hendrie, Patrick Berger, they are good loan siginings. A loanee should be better than what you have and should improve the team - Andy Welsh doesn't improve sh!t. Will someone please injure Stephen Hughes permanently so he can retire and we can get rid. In the second half the RL commentator commented on Hughes "He's had a quiet second half'. When does he ever have anything other than a quiet 90 minutes.
Why the fcuk is De Vries out on loan - whoever's decision that was should be shot. If it was a board decision the sooner they go the better. If it was RK's decision then I seriously question his ability as a manager.
Our squad is a complete mess. I couldn't agree more with Gary Rowett when he said we don't have any match winners in the squad. Hume apart, and possibly Fryatt if he EVER regains form, we have no-one. Is anyone ever inspired by our subs bench. McAuley coming on up-front. How fcuking desperate are we. .

Momo Sylla, Chris O'Grady, Elvis Hammond, Andy Welsh, Stephen Hughes, Andy Johnson, Josh Low, Rab Douglas, Alan Maybury......... FCUK OFF NOW!!!!

It's time for a new owner, a new manager and a bus-load of new players... and that's just to stay out of Division one.

I love your passion. thats great! There is going to be a big transitional period for leicester. For a start getting rid of a large number of inadequate players, getting in new quality and allowing them to settle. Then we can think about promotion. until then we have to scrap for our lives

I disagree on one thing. Many people would think the fact that the 20:07 train from London Bridge didn't leave until 20:18 is crap - I don't - if it had left on time, I would have missed it - because it was late, I caught it. The only good thing about the day!!

(The fish and chips from the shop opposite Derby station were OK too!)

I was there when it happened. The behaviour of a small minority of City fans was disgusting. The behaviour of many members of the Derbyshire Police Force was even more disgusting.

What I saw was the kind of thing that turned many people away from the game in the 80s. I never thought I would see it return.

Go on Boc...

from a derby point of view (dont shoot me ) they all agree it should of been 1-1 and they where lucky that they won even though BD thought they should have won but the players thought it should have been 1-1
Your right, they didn't start to protest till that tw*t of a linesman put his flag and even then the were appealing for offside. Could hear them from where I was.

But the reason there is likely to be a takeover is because even this board realised the game was up. The attendances and support have been remarkably good considering the dire stuff served up...but they knew that situation can't last amd something had to be done.

The players that have been brought in - with one or two exceptions notably Hume - are lower division players. Let me spell it out: they belong in Leagues 1 & 2 - and given enough time they would take the club there.

Unfortunately, the manager - sad to say - does not appear fit for purpose. However, He inherited a low quality squad and needs to be profoundly thanked for rescuing the club from a possible relegation last season - then given a nice cheque by MM, allowed to keep his club car and find a new job.

As I have said before, we are currently in suspended in limbo - the matches and results are not of a great deal of meaning except if we fall into serious danger before the (hoped for) takeover , and it's going to take that takeover and a fresh start to move things forward. We can't expect a quick turn round, but as soon as things start to improve I'm sure everyone will feel a lot better.

Sums it up nicely Redditch. :038: :038:

The current players ARE good enough for this division, most of them anyway. Not necessarily good enough for promotion, but they should be more than good enough for mid table, they're certainly not bad enough to get us relegated if they play to their ability.
The run we went on after RK took over last season shows what the players are capable of.

The reason we're not doing well at the moment is a combination of poor management, players out of form or unmotivated, injuries, and a small squad.
I don't think it would take much to turn the current squad into a promotion challenging one, a decent midfielder or two and striker should be enough - if we have the right manager to get them playing.

I don't know if RK is the right man for the job or not - he seems to make a lot of odd team selections, picking players who are clearly out of form.
I'm sure most fans were surprised to see Fryatt and Welsh in the starting line up on Saturday - and would have rather seen Hammond and Porter in the team. Kelly put that right - eventually with his substitutions, but it should never have been necessary.

Even sheep fans could see spot that problem with the team - this comes from the report on their Rivals site: "Leicester made a couple of quick changes; taking off the awful Fryatt and Welsh and replacing them with the much more effective duo of Elvis Hammond and Levi Porter; the latter of whom caused significant problems for the previously comfortable Marc Edworthy."

In truth our defence has been solid as a rock this season. We have had problems everywhere else!

I]"

Does it?

More likely - in my opinion - it shows that there was an initial sense of relief that Levein had gone. But I would have thought by even the end of last season, there were serious doubts that any significant change for the better was likely. Indeed when we started talking about this season, I think most observers were less than optimistic, the situation not being helped by the departure of our best player (and Joey is nothing special).

I tend to agree that the squad is (just about) capable of surviving in this division. But nothing more.

I don't think its too difficult to see what's wrong: weak midfield and lack of potency up front - with one half decent forward whose a bit on the small side. Plus a manager who frankly looks well out of his depth.

Just seen the goal from Saturday, why am I entirely not suprised that it came down the left, by somebody skinning Johansson?

does anyone think our goal shouldve stood?? couldnt really tell at the game but seeing it on the championship stearman did have his arm up just as the ball was played up to him...:102:
