That is all with the benefit of hindsight. If Leeds had not gone in to admin and knew that a win at Derby might keep them up then yesterday's results could have been very different for us. I, for one, was really happy we got 6 points at Preston and Barnsley and thank NW and DL for that completely.

For you maybe.

The only opinion that I seem to have mentioned here is that the defence was awful yesterday. Does anybody not share that opinion?

I couldn't agree more Boc. Wolves should have scored at least 2 before they did eventually score. Missed 2 open goals because our defence was incapable of clearing a free running ball. Absolutely woeful. They could easily have had at least half a dozen against us if they'd been on the ball.

No - that was in reaction to your 'hindsight' remark. you're totaly right about our defence....

I never mentioned 'hindsight'. It was you who mentioned 'hindsight'. What I was saying was that Jeff and I didn't need hindsight because we got it right in the first place. - there's no need for hindsight when you've already said something before the event.

But by saying you were right I would argue with. The season ended when we got 6 points out of two matches at Oakwell, it was only following this result that Leeds made their decision. Had we only got the tally both you and Jeff predicted then we may not have been safe, as Leeds may have won at Derby and we may have lost at home to Wolves. Therefore, in hindsight you were right, but it's nonsensicle to suggest otherwise.

Anyway. Who cares? We're up, those scum bags are down... Fact.

Well Explained! 038

Apparently DF, Mourinho and Ferguson were texting each other over the weekend and they fancy joining forces at a poor Championship side...what do you reckon? :102:
