Does Gilbert actually go to the game?

Here's what he wrote tonight!

Funny that he seems to have made the same mistake as RL did about the guilty party who gifted the goal.

*ping webbo* Did you see any train to anywhere north after the game, webbo? I'm sure I didn't!

mmmmm!

i used to live down plymouth an getting the train to leicester is just not viable it takes more than 7 hours if i can remember. i used to get the coach if not driving. i'd be very suprised if many got the train to plymouth for last nights game.

It was Maybury, but the weather had a lot to do with it - the ball just stopped. Difficult to blame him.

Depends whether he was invited, I suppose. Or can you just turn up at Edna's without an invitation?

Joe says she can be very 'accommodating'...

I do not want anyone on here having a go at Leicester fans please, calling Gilbert a twat is not acceptable. He loves the club and writes about it, whether he goes or not is down to him, the fact he spends so much time and effort on the foxes is to be respected.

*sniggers behind hand*

If he says he goes, but he doesn't go, that's fiction. People might start to believe that everything he writes is fiction.

:omg:

I like him too, I like his weird tangents - and as to whether he was there last night, well I misidentify players too. But if someone doesn't rate his stuff they've every right to say so - he's put it in the public domain, I'm sure he can take it.

Last night - how did the conditions compare to Burnley New Year's Day? I slipped on the steps three times exiting that game!

I'm sure he can. Nobody would write his kind of stuff without expecting a bit of sniping. And there will always be people around who will want to snipe - so everybody's happy.

For the record, I like him to - if only for his eccentricity. I wish i thought that I could get away with it!!

Burnley game probably shouldn't have started. Tonight was probably not as bad as Burnley, Reading or the game at Portsmouth which was allowed to finish - but there's no question that the ref made the right decision.
