In view of what was said about Jobber in another thread about a previous last game of the season outing when certain people were injured he came dressed for the part this time by the looks of the pictures on the OS

Not sure I'd trust him with a knife though.

I dont know what it is about him, I've never met him - yet I want to yell the "c" word.... :102:

I saw a few smoke bombs being let off and a few drunk leicester fans fighting amongst themselves, police over reacted and got involved with a minor scuffle between fans, lets not make it sound worse than it was however it did make a poor final away day more eventful, roll on next season :)

So you condone bad behaviour do you?

How are the police supposed to react when they see devices being discharged that may cause panic and alarm, and drunks fighting?

It's not "feed the Yak" for nothing, you know.
You do have to feed him though as he doesn't go looking for food and that is what irritates me.

I've probably just got an irrational dislike of him in the same way that I loved Max Gradel for no apparant reason. :icon_bigg

I had a great day out. It was just a shame about the football really.

Nice to see you posting again Harbikins, don't pay any mind to all these that object to your rational post.

Just saw the goals. What an exquisite finish by Yakubu, practically passed the ball into the net.

That was certainly the implication.

There was not. I'm not condonig it in at all but it was the last game of the season and a few drunken lads having banter, everyone I saw around the incident seemed to be stood there fine and didn't look scared that the smoke bombs could danger and make the stadium explode.

If not condoning you are certainly not demonstrating that you are against what happened.

I know at least one person who WAS alarmed by what she witnessed because she was there at the time and told me so. I also know others who were planning to go who would certainly NOT be the types to be amused or entertained in the way that you obviously were.

For the record, these same people weren't very pleased at Stoke a few seasons back either when bottles were thrown around in a similar 'end of season party' type of way.

What is 'fun' for some is painful for others and when you develop a sense of consideration for your fellow human beings perhaps you will have attained a degree of maturity that seems to be currently lacking.

The South Yorkshire Police would have had 'information' about the likely behaviour of City fans at the last away game of the season. Some may even have witnessed the windows been removed from the bus from Hillsborough to Sheffield station and being thrown at police after the last game of the season a few years before that. They would have been keen to keep bad behaviour under control and to avoid any escalation.

Stringer asked Alan Young about which loanees he'd sign for next season (if possible).
Naughton, yes, Mee yes, Bruma no, Kamara jury out, Yakubu NO!

Didn't ask him about Ricardo :)

When he dosen't have the ball Yak does look lazy, but his goal scoring and assists show what he can bring to the table.
Sign him, give him a preseason and watch the goals go in with him and Vassell up front.

Then just shore up the defence and all should be well. It seems at the moment that we have to "equalise before the other team scores"! (Can't remember who said that originally, but how apt.)
