Duberry accuses Tiatto of racism
Stoke captain Michael Duberry has accused Leicester's Danny Tiatto of racially abusing Salif Diao during the Foxes' 2-1 win on Tuesday night.
Duberry claims Tiatto made the comments when the Australian defender and Diao, who is currently on loan at Stoke from Liverpool, clashed early on at the Walkers Stadium.
The Potters defender revealed he is unlikely to make a formal complaint, meaning no further action will be taken unless referee Graham Laws includes the incident in his match report.
Duberry told the Stoke Sentinel: "I'm not sure if the ref heard it himself but a lot of players did. And he (Tiatto) knows what he said. He should be disgusted with himself.
"He should have been sent off for the comment. We are trying to stamp out that sort of thing. I'm willing to speak out because we all wear the badge to kick it out.
"It wasn't a black or white remark, there was no mention of colour, but it's still racism. There's no point wearing those t-shirts if this sort of thing happens."
Senegal international Diao declined to talk after the game and both Tiatto and Leicester officials were unavailable for comment.
