I think the in the games without Conners are most dangerous game in attack was Crewe, with Dublin and hammond, and i could see that attack working again!

I'd say that, whilst Dion may not be required every week for the team, he is one of the most important players in the squad. Him and Willcox were retained presumably because Craig thinks (as I do) it would be madness to have a squad of *just* young players with no experience, no former internationals, nobody who has played in big games for massive clubs, etc. Makes sense to keep them both for this season at least. :102:

And, of course, with Dion in our squad, at least we are always top of one league... :icon_eek: ;) :icon_lol:

You have to be joking dont you?? I can only recall him losing out in one arial challenge.

There's no point 'winning' headers if you can't do anything productive with the ball, most of his headers were ineffective. I'd rather play the ball to MdV's feet and achieve nothing than play it to Dublin's head and get the same result.

He also nearly scored at the end from that cross shot.

But he didn't score - and I don't think he looked any more likely to score than MdV did. Like last season, he's getting more cards than goals.

MdV has already got 5 goals this season, Dublin only got 6 in the whole of last season.

I think Dublin would be a good player if we were playing with decent wingers and getting good crosses into the box - but we had no width on Tuesday and the crossing was poor. Just bringing him on to pump high balls up to him is a waste of time, we play better when we pass the ball around, and having him there encourages players just to aim for him instead of trying to play football.

I didn't like him last season but was willing to give him a chance, but he was rubbish. He got another year under Levein so again I was willing to give him a chance, again he's been rubbish. He's too slow, when he plays in defence he hoofs it, when he plays in attack he gets everyone else to hoof it. His inspiration is nothing more than waving his arms around a bit, Freund did the same thing a couple of seasons ago and he conned the fans then too. He doesn't care about Leicester, and all the stuff served up by the club and RL saying he does really sticks in my throat.

I can't see us being in any position to be able to let him go mid-season really, but I hope he's just left as a squad player for the rest of this season then not given another contract. And to be honest if the stuff BOB HAZELL has been saying is true then I think that's more than he deserves.

Dump him! Its alright saying you cannot understand why people defend MDV, but I can't understand why people rate DD either. To me his legs have gone, his heading ability is over rated. People singing his name at the end of the game v QPr to me have totally been taken in by him. He thinks by playing to the the crowd no-one will notice his ineptitude. Well not me, and before you all start on me I got grief on Tuesday night from people around me over Dublin. I just get fed up when people have a go at MDV but let Dublin off when he does the same thing e.g not win the header :102:

your right about not giving MDV unecessary grief but surely that would apply to dion as well

True but dublin get's nowhere near as much as MDV,he isn't booed when he comes on etc.

You are right Lazzer, but I do not give hime unneccessary grief, I just try to make people realise that MDV is not all bad, and that what they are criticising him for is only the same as DD does when he gets on. His goal tally is better than DD's as wall.

And did anyone else see the row going on at the end of the QPR game between 2 guys in F2 which then carried onto the concourse? Any idea what it was about?

I saw it Cleefox - basically one fickle bonehead shouted "Levein out" and another guy took a great deal of offence to this and offered the guy outside!!!! It was quite amusing to watch....

No (unfortunately)... that would have been really funny! The stewards were doing their best to pretend it wasnt happening :)

Thanks Cate Fox, we did wonder if that was the case but we missed the start of the row and only heard the slanging match down the stairs. The only steward to get involved was 'Keyman' on the concourse. Amazing really, considering the stewards are always on at everyone at the slightest thing usually, but when they could do something useful they are nowhere in sight.

Hey Cate Fox where do you sit then, roughly will do, I'm not going to stalk you!:icon_lol:

Lazzer you dirty old git! :icon_lol:

some d*ckhead who shouts it after every game... thinks he is being funny :icon_roll
