Why would he say it if it's not true?
To bolster his case?

Dyer's cousin was described in court as a drug dealer who was lured to the park by someone wanting to buy drugs, so he could be attacked.
Two people were convicted of murder.
I realise that the British justice system isn't perfect, but if people are convicted of murder I would imagine the prosecution's case was pretty good.
Maybe if his cousin hadn't been a drug dealer he wouldn't have been murdered.
The ghost of a lad i never got on with at school once forced me to make love to a dog. My defence lawyer told the jury but they never believed him. Why would he lie?
I'm the fall guy for a sceptical justice system that is failing badly.
Well done Lloyd.
Okay.
Lloyd Dyer caused the ball to cross the line and go into the net by connecting with the ball from open play, it wasn't helped across the line by the ghost of his cousin.
Anybody that believes differently is delusional, in fact, Lloyd Dyer himself is deluded but I'm prepared to forgive him for his delusions if it means he will score more goals.
Go Leon, you feckin City legend.
