PDS - just had a thought. That dog you were going to get for your girlfriend - have you got it yet?

How long is its tongue?

Walk in Centres are a waste of time in my experience. Once they've checked you over to find out what is wrong they'll tell you what you need your GP to do. Meaning you'll probably end up back at the GP again

If you try each one of the cures offered on here on succesive days, that should take you nicely up to the 7th of June when you can get them syringed and can presumably have the cotton wool, oil, candles, dyson parts, next door's lawnmower, the cat from down the street and assorted cotton buds removed. :icon_lol:

Get a bendy straw
Insert into ear
Get girlfriend to suck to create a syphon flow
Leave draining

If it isn't runny enough to syphon she will need to keep sucking it out until you are empty.

The warm olive oil trick is probably the best way, but its needs to be done for a prolonged period - up to two weeks and 2-3 times per day. Mignt be quicker to learn sign language.

He'd never manage to switch places with it under the covers without her noticing. :018:

And you can be relieved that you're not going to have to endure the slight risk that syringing brings with it.

I've been told in the past that Otex are quite agressive on the ear and shouldn't be used often, not sure how true it is. I know they make my ears very sore when I use them.
