There are a lot of eBay fraud/scams originating from Cyprus and Greece, looks like Dan got lucky and they gave up or got rumbled before he got ripped off.

So how do you explain that he's still got the money?

Did they use a stolen credit card but no one noticed?

Quite possible they use a 'legitimate' PayPal account, funded by other means of course. They get the seller to ship it to an unconfirmed address and then claim they've not received the goods. The seller can't prove they've shipped it so PayPal almost instantly return the funds to the buyer.

No idea whether that's the case here but it's happening every day on eBay. Much more likely than someone forgetting they've bought a guitar or dropping dead the day after paying up.

This item is not quite as illustrated due to significant wear and tear. Actually, my wife left me, took the canvas and left just the frame. 'tornadoshaunuk'. I started importing videogame character merchandise and they sell pretty well, so obviously really looking forward to the run up to Christmas as I think the kids will go mad for these kind of things. Pokémon and Super Mario stuff sells particularly well.

Do your research and do something you know well so that you will enjoy doing it.

There's nothing better than earning money sitting on your arse. I'm hoping to build this up to the stage where I can be earning a full time wage from it within the next year or two but we'll see how it pans out For now it's basically a part time job.
