It would be a major coup for the club if we did get him, but I don't think he would bring anything extra to the club.

I agree with slyfox, in the fact that to sign a player of his calibre (even if it was a few years ago) would put bums on seats. But for the reputed wages, i'd prefer someone a little younger.

I am not saying it is a good thing but I would think the extra tickets and shirts sold would cover a good chunk of his wages,Plus i do think he could do a job and he certainly has enough experience to help out the younger members of the squad.
