The competition they are playing in is a recognised senior tourament though.

Surely one team can't have it recorded as a senior match but not the other?

Whenever I've seen stats of Spanish players their appearances for the B side are listed as if for a separate side eg Barcelona B. Could be the same for this. I agree with you, hence why I was wondering.
