Impossible for England not to qualify. Someone will finish with a negative run-rate and it wont be England.

Pakistan were awful in all departments today, but either way I couldn't lose today.

I hate Pakistan so I wanted England to win, however if Pakistan had won, then I would have just spouted my usual tirade of abuse towards the England side.

I laughed when England lost the other day, and bang on about how I don't give a feck about England playing cricket because I dislike the sport. I only pretend to be a English cricket fan when we win- this is because I am fickle.

According to the BBC highlights programme there is a very very tiny chance that they could both exceed the English run rate with some completely weird Duckworth-Lewis shenanigans!

I'd like to know how

If the Netherlands beat Pakistan, then Pakistan are out.
If Pakistan beat the Netherlands, how can the Netherlands improve their already inferior run-rate

Is it that in losing they would need to score a ridiculous amount
