Gladiators, chariot racing and ratting have died out?
They're the only sports the BBC have the live TV rights to these days. Everything else is on Sky, BT etc. Des Lynam was bigging them up on Grandstand last Saturday, so maybe they'll grow in popularity again?

Maybe chariot racing finished after they discovered which was the fastest chariot? They appear to be having a **** of a job working that out for twats going round in circles in cars.

Chelsea bigwigs will perhaps be on the phone to set up another meet after tonight's defeat.
No Champions League next season and who knows when they'll next get there.
