What a poor goal to concede, though. 10 men behind the ball, one pass cuts us open, then Chilwell is beaten one-on-one and receives absolutely no support.

Very poor, maybe they expected Chilwell to do better? Leaving Lukaku in space though, criminal.

Amazing fight back though, great spirit shown. I'd absolutely love to see a good run in this competition. Hopefully a forgiving draw.

Right, I was very negative during the 1st half, and rightly ****ing so....

Probably the most pathetic approach to a game I've seen in a long time, the flattest midfield with one man upfront on a hiding to nothing, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if Leo got himself taken off on purpose, it was abject shit of the highest order.

2nd half was a bit better and we eventually realised that the striker might need some support. As soon as the midfield pushed up and supported as a unit we looked great.

Special mention to Musa who did a ****ing incredible job of leading the line on his own. A tireless display of running and physical dominance that he shouldn't be capable of. He was also composed for both goals, hopefully people give him a chance before writing him off.

Chilwell was also excellent, he does all the basic things so well, great potential.

Ndidi was excellent for saying he's been here a few days, all over the pitch and certainly not shy.

Away fans were very vocal, home fans were the worst I have experienced in over 15 years, utterly pathetic.

I read recently from someone who followed Musa in Russia that Musa's best position is exactly where he played today - forced into it by Ulloa's injury it was probably the only chance he would have to play there without Vardy and Slimani being available . Interesting to see what happens next Saturday - Vardy will probably come back and Musa will play wide or behind him. I think Mahrez and Slimani's departure for a few weeks may be a blessing in disguise as it gives others a chance to step up Feeling much more positive now to push on to the top half of the table with Mendy looking good and the addition of Ndidi

How did Kaputska do in his brief appearance?

Fell over with his first touch. His second "touch" was a high tackle and a yellow card.

But then he had a couple of decent touches and had a tame shot.

Hard to judge on 10 minutes really.

but you're sure it was a real person and not a hologram?

Anyone got a link to a decent highlights package of the match? (assuming there were some highlights!) Or the full match even??

The beebs lock down of the FA Cup pisses me off.

from that link....

Ok, in fairness, perhaps our correspondent was at the other end and/or unsighted!
You should have included the start of that sentence;

"Within two minutes they were level when that man Musa races down the left put in a cross for Gray whose effort was parried onto the post by Robles but in a flash both Musa and Gray had followed up and forced the ball over the line before Robles could knock it away."

Why? The bit I highlighted was the only bit I intended to draw attention to. Gray was not involved in the ball being bundled over the line.
Because Musa didn't race down the left to put in a cross for Gray.

I didn't say he did. I quoted what the Evertonian said. Read it again, particularly the use of the word 'both'...

in a flash both Musa and Gray had followed up and forced the ball over the line

Does that or does that not state (or imply if you'd prefer) that Musa AND Gray forced the ball over the line? Regardless of whichever's involvement in the attack and eventual cross. It certainly does not say that only Musa forced the ball over the line, which is what happened.

Ok, I'll cut the guy some slack and give him the benefit of the doubt. It's maybe a grammatical error rather than one of observation.
