Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

anyone see Sapplebums sending off and the free for all that followed? Don't how the Ref only sent 3 players off.

I don't know how he decided which three to send off - except for Sappleton, of course.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

It's not often that Notts can claim a scoopity scoop scoop.
I thought it was a trap. Perhaps I over-estimated him.

Any road, before you all go creaming yourselves at the thought of a goalfest for our opponents, he's back up to our second string keeper Marshall. My understanding is that Heaton needs a minor op on his foot(if memory serves).

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Tony Warner headed clear but Yeovil got the ball back and scored the winner.

Anyone see Ricky Sappleton start an almighty brawl kicking a player for Macclesfield against Wycombe, resulting in him and 2 others getting sent off

This was my mates first game as a league referee. What a start to his career :icon_lol:

He should do well. He proved he can use a whistle.

Re: Ex-players (the thread nobody's been waiting for)

Lincoln City got two own goals tonight as they beat Oxford Utd 3-1!

Harry Worley scored an own goal as he tried to keep Delroy Facey's effort out and then Anthony Tonkin deflected Facey's cross into his own net
