I believe prostitution should be legalised and gone through the PAYE system, but that's irrelevant right now as it's too deep and I'm waaaaay too busy. You are right, they broke the law and they were brushed aside for a glory catch.

I've already pointed out that prostitution is legal but people keep saying they broke the law.
I haven't followed the details of the case so I don't know exactly what went on, so maybe someone could tell me how they broke the law?

I'm not on about the sex, I'm on about the moment they entered into the agreement.
I believe it's also illegal for more than one woman to enter into, and fulfill a sexual contract in one building.

I wou;d have thought it unlikely that he trawled the streets looking for them, he's more likely to have done it through an escort agency, which would be legal.
I'm not entirely sure on this, but I think that's if they're selling sex from a building (ie a brothel), rather than if they visit someone else's premises. But I don't know if that's the case in this situation.

I just remember listening to a radio phone in about the sex laws in the UK and a lot of things that people think are illegal are perfectly legal, but it's pretty complicated, there are lots of grey areas, and some illegal things never get prosecuted anyway.
