Scousers 1-3 down. Come on Albion.

What happened to their third goal? Left the room after it went in and come back and it's not counted??

Now it's 1-3 after more VAR.

The most extraordinary half I've seen in ages. Complete chaos, horrible defending, some great play, not a clue what's happening half the time.

Sorry, I was referring to the penalty nonsense. If that's a VAR penalty, there will be ten per game.

It was a definite penalty, but defenders get away with stuff like that all the time. If defenders know that they'll give away a penalty when they pull players back they'll stop doing it, but it'll take a while for them to learn and adjust the way they play.
Hopefully if VAR comes in full time it will cut a lot of that kind of stuff out, and it won't need to be used as much.

VAR and the referee were 100% correct in all their decisions in that half.

It still needs tweaking to reduce the lag between the whistle and the decision being delivered but that will improve.

It should also be that the crowd and TV hear the referee talking to VAR as this will bring the crowd into it rather than the current exclusion and silence.

VAR is horrid stuff. Worse than I could ever imagine.

I've always thought by removing some dodgy decisions we'd lose some of the big club bias. After seeing VAR a few times it's either something that they're not comfortable with using yet or are deliberately making a pigs fanny out of to avoid it ever being used.
