So if you live in London and went to 4/5 of the London games but no home games you are more likely to get a F. A cup ticket than someone with a home season ticket that lives in Carlisle

You don't have to have a season ticket to buy away tickets, occasionally they go on general sale, and a few are reserved for members who enter a ballot.

A season ticket adds 50 points per season to your points though so you wouldn't have enough points still.

I’m not sure that’s right. You used to get 50 points for a season ticket and 1 point for an away ticket, accumulated over the previous 3 seasons. Not sure if that’s still the case, but I imagine it’s probably something like that still.

My mum and dad have tickets. They've been to pretty much every match home and away for the past 10 years. The missed the first home game of the season against Everton 6 years ago as I was getting married. I never heard the end of it

How do people get over 300 points?
I thought points were over rolling 3 seasons. So 50 x 3 for season ticket plus 19x 3 away games. So 207 plus a handful of cup games. Even over 4 seasons it would be hard to get over 300 without lots of away cup games.
Either that or my maths is really broken.

Agreed. It’s also slightly skewed by the fact that whilst I’m a fan, I’m also a jammy bastard that’s managed to get a corporate wanker ticket. I genuinely am stunned.

Starts at 151, then adds 50 for subsequent seasons til you get to 301 - then it’s just away tickets adding extra points - think they use The last three seasons‘ worth

Points don’t roll for 3 seasons. Season tickets are counted since 14/15 and away matches are counted since 13/14

Damn. I gave my season ticket up in 17/18 thinking i wouldn't have time to go, seems thats cost me. Annoyingly i spent more on individual match tickets than the season ticket would have cost. Ah well. Spose i was lucky enough just to get the season ticket back the following year.
