Tonight, kick off 7PM.

Some clubs provide commentary or regular updates on matches like this, but our OS hasn't even told us the game is taking place. Shambles.

From Charlton's site:

Charlton's in-form U18s are aiming to continue their FA Youth Cup adventure when they host Leicester City on Wednesday night (7pm).

The Foxes visit Welling United's Park View Road in the fourth round of youth football's top domestic knock-out competition, with a home tie against Tottenham Hotspur awaiting the winners.

"The confidence and spirit within the group is good, and Saturday's victory enhances that," said academy manager Steve Avory.

"The belief in our ability to achieve something on two fronts this season is there.

"The FA Youth Cup is always a special occasion, but we've had three games already this season.

"We've played at Welling twice already, so we've proved we can handle the occasion very well."

It's a big week for the Charlton youth set-up, with the second annual academy day looming at the weekend when the first team hosts Sheffield United.

Avory added: "It would be great to go into that day having had a highly successful week with a league victory and FA Youth Cup victory, and that will be our aim - to make the spirit even more buoyant for the day.

"But we know that Leicester will provide our stiffest opposition yet, in every possible sense. I have no doubt about that.

"As much as we are aware of Leicester's capabilities, though, it's about us and making sure we get our game right.

We want to make sure that individuals are fully focused, fully prepared, and that they understand their role and responsibilities to enable them to get the job done."

Leicester warmed up for the match with a 3-2 win against Cardiff City at the weekend, with Harry Panayiotou bagging a hat-trick.

The first-year apprentice twice gave the Foxes the lead before notching the decisive goal in the closing five minutes following good work from fellow first-year Joe Dodoo.

It left City's academy director Jon Rudkin to reflect: "Harry's hat-trick was a fine achievement in itself, but it was also part of an excellent performance and result for the team.

"It sets us up nicely for Wednesday night's game at Charlton, which will be a very difficult test for the players, but it's a challenge we're all looking forward to."

The win was Leicester's fourth in succession, including a 5-0 win in the third round of the competition against Aldershot Town at the King Power Stadium.

Tom Hopper and Panayiotou were both on target twice, and Matt Robinson also netted against the Shots.

While Charlton slipped out of the competition at Norwich City last season, the Foxes, who have lost just three times this term, reached the quarter-finals of the competition in 2010/11, losing to eventual runners-up Sheffield United.

The sides have met in the FA Youth Cup before, when a goal from Tommy Wright earned Leicester a 1-0 win at The Valley on December 4th, 2001.

Charlton, who included Michael Turner, Osei Sankofa and Lloyd Sam in their starting XI, struggled to create any clear-cut chances despite hogging possession, and Wright's 25th-minute strike proved decisive.

The teams are not unfamiliar foes in modern times, and met in the league on April 9th last season when the Foxes sneaked a 1-0 win at Sparrows Lane.

Avory has again tapped into his secret weapon ahead of the game - first-team manager Chris Powell.

He added: "Oddly enough, I spoke to Chris more last season about Leicester and the players they had, but I've talked to him again because he is aware of some of their strengths and qualities.

"We've had someone who has done a report on them as well, and we're well aware of the philosophy of their academy and the organisation that their teams have. It will be a tough game."

The players will report to Sparrows Lane for a pre-match meal before making the short trip to Park View Road, and, for the first time this season, Avory and academy director Paul Hart are selecting from a fully fit squad.

"It means some decisions have to be made, and the players know that everybody cannot be in the squad that night," said Steve.

"We'll do what we have been doing at the training ground and keep that going the same as previous rounds."

On the potential of a home match against Spurs, Avory said: "It's an incentive of a home tie, which is good to know, no doubt for both teams.

"I can't be looking at that at the moment, and I don't think the players are. They are fully focused on getting the job done on Wednesday."

* Admission to Park View Road fro the youth cup tie against Leicester (7pm) is £3 adults and £1 concessions, with tickets available to purchase on the turnstiles in advance of kick-off. Unfortunately, under the rules of the competition, the club is unable to offer season-ticket holders free admission.

Baffling that the OS aren't on top of something as simple as this. Should be a decent test, Charlton's yoof aren't half bad at all by the looks of things.

Sheff United youngsters did well last season and beat our lads on the way to the final and then some of them have got in the 1st team that is challenging to get out of League One having got relegated last season. So same could happen to Forest.
