Saw this a few days ago. How come the FAW have the right to impose fines (or whatever they choose to do). The Welsh teams play in English leagues so surely any punishment should be dished out by the FA.
I believe in the past the FAW have over-ruled red cards for welsh clubs. (Darren Purse for Cardiff?)

How did they ever come to join the English football league anyway? Surely once they jolined, they should have also come under the jurisdiction of the FA?

Why?

It's the English FA. They're Welsh clubs.


The football League consists of clubs from England and Wales. It's not part of the FA, it's a separate organisation.
