Really loving the virtual pro at the minute. Not sure how long the game will keep my interest though. Anyone done there gameface?

It's not that it's switching on and off (if that is indeed what you're saying). Surely you don't expect your rating to go up every time you complete a pass?

It usually does, but when you're rating is full during the game it doesn't count anything. Soon as you do something wrong and lose a bit of your rating the next good thing you do will be counted.

As far as I'm aware it depends on whether the game considers it to be a 'good' pass. i.e. there is no point is just going and playing one-twos on the edge of your own penalty box.

Anyone else hate the stupid ****ing night games? I know it's supposed to be a challenge, but I want a challenge because of the opposition's tactics, not because I can't see where my ****ing players are

i seriously need online gaming. as enjoyable as winning every game is, the hardest difficulty level really isn't much of a challenge.

but it does it when im bout 8 out of 10 so maybe it's just a glitch

Got rather pissed off at playing in snow yesterday...you'd think FIFA would be clever enough to default to a coloured ball? No. Hereford wore white too and I wore white shorts and socks. Hard work.

Queued up at ASDA (surprised how many people there were) for my copy of PES last night.

I only played a couple of games, and it was late, but.... first impressions are good. Changing direction can be a little robotic for the less agile players but on the whole i'm impressed so far. It is also going to take time to get used to the slide tackles, again! I played on top player and was surprised how good the opposition were - Honduras walked all over my Belgium side with their one-touch football.

The interface is yet another cut and paste job, with new fancy colours. That's disappointing.

I'm looking forward to getting a season started.

Hmmmm, could be worth getting on that review, keep us posted:)

I sure that Fifa will still come out on top as the more playable game but PES is good for a quick fix when with mates and that, probably a bit more entertaining straight off the bat.
