Didn't realise it kicked off so early, obviously MU can't afford a hotel for their under 21's. Terrific goal from Panatoyi on the volley ( all I need is someone to tell me how to spell his name) and Knockharts assist was top draw. I think we then got a bit overwhelmed but again Knockharts tackle on Rafael was out of the first team, pure commitment. Good to watch.

One each a fair result. Knocky trying to do to much, one day he will learn he can't win a match on his own, love his effort though.

It's been moved. To Manchester City's academy stadium. And the U21 match against Liverpool (being played at Chester's ground) on Monday has had its kick-off changed to 4.15PM and will be shown live on BT Sport.
Bugger, I'll just have to have the beers then

Winning at half time.

Man City 0-1 City (Panayiotou 34) What a strike from Panayiotou, who hammers in a sweet volley from the edge of the box

ManC equalized, but now Panayiotou has done it again

Team to play Liverpool:

Hamer, Pearson (c), Chilwell, McCourt, Davis, Sesay, Dodoo, Rowley, Stankevicius, Panayiotou, Barmby

I was expecting the likes of Moore, Knockaert and Lawrence to be involved. Presumably NP doesn't want to risk getting any injuries to first team squad players.

Match is live on BT Sport at 16:15
