Just to tell the guys who want to download it, it is the Football_Manager_2008-HATRED version. Download the torrent link from mininova.org or another torrent site then open it up with utorrent.

Isn't that a criminals attitude. Like Melton said, would you walk in to a shop and take it off the shelf and walk out? Thats what you are effectively doing.
 
I think it is good that they have reduced the price and I don't mind paying £22-£25 for a game that I know I will spend many hours playing!

Yes it is the same i suppose as going in the shops. But it is 1 in a million chance of getting caught downloading. Millions of peeps do it:biggrin:

More chance of getting caught downloading than physical theft.

Downloading you leave traces everywhere, if they bother to look!!!
 
Quick question, is it possible to set up a network game of FM08 over the internet? and if so how easy is it?

Hopefully by asking people on here it will save me 10 minutes messing around tonight!

From experience and Ive not done it for about 3-4 years. Its dead simple just send the IP address to the people who you want to join your game. More difficult if you have a wireless router from memory as the game didnt pick up you external IP only your local one. Not sure if they fixed it.

On the last one you had to be in the same network, ie using the same wireless internet.

We could never play if we were in different areas.

Ok then set it up gave my mate the IP address and it still not working, saying no server found. Any ideas?
