Just cheap shots against someone not able to defend themselves. Jokes that do the rounds when someone dies are fine just gallows humour but that was low.

My mum died in 1999 and dad in 2004, go for it.......

I'd either pop a rag in or skip using the internet for a bit if you get that touchy about something that weak.

As I say, I met him when he was off his tits and it is well documented that the man had a drink problem. I liked the man immensely but I don't believe for one second that everything that everything he uttered was worth abiding by - I believe his views on homosexuality are something I'd find particularly (and genuinely) offensive rather than your faux upset over this.

Likewise, I don't believe that midweek matches are the best training - I think the statement is a pile of cock...which is the point I was making but seemed to slip by you.

So, what would you like me to go for with your parents? The 'knew them' gags or the 'related' stuff? :icon_roll

If you didn't agree with my comment then why not simply say so instead of having a go at Cloughie. I never mentioned homosexuality, anything you want to explain to the class.

No, but it appears that I need to explain something to you - firstly, you quoted Clough and therefore I led on to highlight that that in itself does not de facto support a viewpoint. Secondly, this (being a Leicester forum) ais probably the wrong place if you wish to get all pissy about someone not demonstrating enough respect for your dead, racist, homophobic, alcoholic, violent ex-manager.

He was in my opinion a prize c*** however, that is no reason for cheap shots against a bloke that cannot defend himself. Plenty of live targets around if he wants a pop at them.

Who says you have to respect him - not me. Simply stating that cheap shots against someone not able to defend themselves is pretty poor but given by your conduct that would seem to be the norm.

I'm not the one getting upset, you are the poor insulted soul crying foul. I've tried to explain things to you in simple terms but obviously I can't dumb it down sufficiently.

I'm saddened in all honesty, I thought you were a reasonable addition to the forum who frequently had interesting things to say and appeared to have a sense of humour - but your posts in this thread portray you as a bit of a twat and, worse, a really dull one.

No skin off my nose though, I'm not after an efight, I don't care how big your virtual dick is - you go on block and I'll continue to make the comments I want to on a forum for my club in any manner I see fit.
