came bored and cold at about 7pm at the quarter final stage and was in the pub by 7.20.

I think we were the winners!

meaning being in the pub was better than getting beyond the quarters. We were quite happy with a pint rather than playing on for another 1hr/1.5hrs in the freezing cold.

Could the FT please confirm who the very first winners of the FT 5-a-side comp were?

I remember we actually got to grace the hallowed Walkers as a result of the victory..... (and won in the name of the FT there too....!)
