He probably wore the shirt knowing it would wind the English up and it worked a treat it seems.I don't think he was too bothered if England won or lost,he's scottish and supports Scotland.As for the Tennis,he's in danger of becoming a nearly man IMO

Obviously he only wore it to wind people up, but it explains why some people don't like him. It might be petty but he wanted a reaction and it has resulted in some people disliking him.

As for you suggesting he is a nearly man I think you are being a bit premature. He has only been on the tour for a couple of seasons and even Federer took a while before he started winning grand slams.

You might be right and its early days I guess.I did only say he was in danger of becoming one though
