It does make me laugh how some people on here when a high profile player is linked to the club moan that we are not big enough and could never attract top quality players yet all of a sudden seem unhappy that we havn't got a friendly against real madrid or barca. At the end of the day we have only just been promoted back to the second tier of english football and we have a friendly against a top tier spanish side surely it isnt that bad....................is it?

No one is suggesting Real Madrid or Barca, that's just plain silly

Forest play Stoke and Birmingham, Posh have lined up a friendly against Fulham and even Scunny are playing Wolves

All on a par with our current position as you describe it, although I would argue that we are superior to all three - and yet they are all facing opposition far more interesting than some tin pot team from the bottom of the Spanish league

I do not agree, I think Valladolid are at least as good and interesting as Stoke or Wolves.
