We must really be in the shite now. Car boots on the car park? How long will that last? And what an woeful timing! Car boots basically stop at this time of year unless its indoors because the ground is icey and its bloody freezing. This would have been better if it had been rolled out during the summer - when people go to car boots!

It's great timing: Croft, Saddington and Quorn start to get unpleasant because they're in fields that start to get muddy at this time of year. This could really become the winter car boot site in Leicestershire.
That rather depends on where you live Scarbs - Filbo Way is better placed for people who are in the city and there's a lot more of them than live in Glen I reckon :icon_bigggood thinking!!
only thing is Leicester City is quite a mission to get through with traffic and all that compared to the famous Leicestershire village car boots
ITFC have been doing it for years never bothered them
Well its rains a lot in winter, the ground is icy and its freezing cold. Given those things I wouldn't attend a car boot at the Leicester ground if I lived on Filbert Street! This whole thing will be sicontinued after 1/2 months topps!
im sure due to H&S if the ground was too icy the market would be cancelled or salt/grit would be put down
Well thats going to be everyweek between late october - Feb
Blimey, the climate has deteriorated in Leicester since I moved. Never used to get more than 3 or 4 icy weeks in a winter. Presumably most of our home matches will be cancelled this season - safety regs won't allow thenm to go ahead if the approaches and streets outside are frozen.
Still, I suppose global warming might have it's positive side & save the day. Or maybe they'll just get some tips from the dozens of Sunday Markets that seem to be able to operate around the country all year round.
OG I bet you this is idea is canceled by Cristmas
why are you so negative about this foxfan?
what's the big problem with it?
