I heard the Cameron Jerome part in the last couple of weeks from someone close to the club. I'm not usually a good source of rumour info but I'd say this was reasonably reliable, so maybe there is something in this Beckford stuff...

it would be a good signing that's for sure but I wouldn't want us to over-pay for him on the basis that Leeds fans think he's the best thing since sliced... hovis. I can't see them selling him anyway, Bates is under enough pressure as it is at Leeds without offloading one of their best players to what they would consider to be a 'promotion rival'..

have friends up here who are big leeds fans. They dont adore him. Apparantly not a team man and thinks he is bigger than the club.

I live with a Leeds fan (for my sins) and he thinks the same. Up for the big games, but doesn't do it week in week out and is lazy. Can't see PN going for someone like that.
