I reckon we should of got David Connolly in before Sunderland got him IMO.

Paying for him with? We've got no money remember.

As for Fryatt not scoring this season, what a totally stupid reaction to him missing a few last night. The one thing I admired about last night was that he did not hide because he's not scoring, still went in for chances when they came. As Dunc sats, he is only a youngster and still learning. I would have above Connolly any day.
If you are going to criticise anyone last, start with Nils-Eric Premiershipnochance prat. I would put him in the reserves and leave him in order that his dream move is not jeopardised.

Thank you

With 3 minutes of normal time to go, there wasnt anyone who looked interested, apart from Johansson. He was trying to gee the players up as he could see no one gave a flyer

Im sorry but this is plainly bollox. The only way the fans can lett the players and Rk know that that type of performance is completely unacceptable from any team that wears the lcfc shirt is to show their frustrations on the terraces. FFS everyone but the manager could see last night that banging the balls out to the wing and then banging them into the centre wasnt working with their two towering centre halves. You could see this after 30 minutes but we still persisted with it for the entire match. Any true lcfc fan who thought that the performance last night was acceptable needs a good sorting out.

Fryatt failed to score again but the type of service we were playing upto him didnt help. We needed to bring weso on after 60 minutes and play the ball through the centre of the park. Instead we make a change which played to the tactics we were already playing which were clearly not working. If we had played some football last night through the centre we would have played them off the park, instead we play it out wide every time and then lump it into the box.

Are there any open evenings coming up with Rk so someone can tell him how it works?

Well I completely disagree with all that you say there, they had 10 men behind the ball and going through the middle would never work, you have to use width to move the opposition about - see England in World Cup for evidence of what happens when you play through the middle.

And they were working, we had loads of chances, Fryatt missed 4/5 good opportunities by good crosses and decent football, not as you rightly point out by lumping it from left back/right back like Stearman and Nissa started to do in the last 10-20 mins. However, RK and MS were going mad when they did this apart from the last 5 mins when it was desperation time.

Moving the ball wide to get crosses in is great plan if you have capable headers of the ball in forward positions, we dont.

Agreed if the crosses that we should have scored from weren't low near post crosses.

I said elsewhere lumping balls in from the left back/right back position is a waste of time but for 50/60mins we didn't do that.

Well Stearman did as soon as he came on but the rest didn't.

Its a little in-joke on here, Cleefox.

I like Fryatt, I think hes a level-headed lad in a rut.

this is my point. It clearly wasnt working last night as we werent getting goals so we needed to try soemthing different, but im not sure the management team were cpaabel of making the right decision last night.

so what do you think has changed he was scoring ok last season and now hes no good, you think he doesnt want to play for the club anymore?

The fact that the defence keep hoofing high balls all the time to Fryatt and Hume doesn't help.....they were even aiming for Porter!!!

Porter got shoved off the ball so many times last night. He's still young and needs to build his strength. So watching people hoof it to the left wing was frustrating to say the least.
Give it to him at his feet or as a through ball and watch him take it past players instead.
Nils didn't seem to like passing to him last night he was always passing back to Hendo or Mcarthy in the centre.

''Of course you will all in turn come to your own conclusions regarding Fryatt when you watch him for yourself. However, from my personal experience of watching him week in week out I would advise you not to get too excited about the prospect of Fryatt in the Championship. Fryatt is a lazy player who does not work hard. If Leicester are able to put quality in the box for him then he will deliver but he will not go and fight for the ball and create his own chances'''

Not having a go at any individuals Hazz - just went over my head that one.

I was as dissappointed as anyone last night and the negativity from some people on Raw Dykes was hard to understand, so I think I just bit today. :icon_roll

Looks like its me and you against the rest of the negative people!

If thats not enough to convince you to be negative I don't know what is :icon_wink

At least theres one person who doesn't think I'm a total prat then :098: :icon_wink
My 16 year old daughter was especially fed up with all the negativity, so it's three of us now.:023:

We think that it may be down to the fact that we travel a reasonable distance to get to the games and if we were so negative we would not want to travel at all.

With you there, I'm travelling up from London with the London Branch on Saturday. I'm not best pleased with our start, but it'll never stop me going to see the buggers - what else would I do on a Saturday?;)

I wouldn't say I was being negative, for a change. In depends on what your expectations were before the season started,I never expected us to be up there challenging for promotion but neither did I expect to be down there so early and more worryingly having scored just 4 goals. As soon as we kicked off the season without strengthning our Attack I thought we'd struggle rather than sit mid table.

Too true. I admire your dedication with a trip to Sunderland. We're not going for various reasons, but we will be at Huddersfield to see the mighty Yeovil with an ear out for the phone ringing with news of City goals.
