And Connolly?

The papers have been linking Birmingham with Collins John from Fulham, and I think that is who they are talking about when Bruce says about not being sure if the clubs will let the players go.

I can't see Fryatt going to Birmingham, especially not for as little as £1.75m, and I don't think Birmingham would pay more than that for him. We signed him for £750,000, which apparently had an add on for another £100,000 since we didn't get relegated last season, and I think it was said at the time that the transfer had a substantial selling on clause. If we could afford to spend that in January then I don't see why we'd have to sell him now because we can't afford to turn it down. Basically, if we sold Fryatt for that price then we'd probably only be making about £300,000 profit or something. Not enough to even come close to replacing Fryatt, let alone strengthening the other positions we need.
It just wouldn't make sense to sell Fryatt for that little amount.

plus why would he goto anther club in the same league IMO he would be looking at a prem club more ,but with city you just never know :102: and like RK said he wants to keep the main players from last season :icon_wink ,now if they offered 3-4 mill we would more than likely take it :icon_evil
