Battling performance but not quite enough quality.

We’ve purposely built a team of players willing to scrap and battle this season, which is what we need. It’s been too long since we had a bit of grit in our team. I like it.

Not a lot to shout about going forward again. Saw a few glimpses from Fatawu and thats about it. Major concerns about our back four. Justin at fault today for some poor decision making but you can pick any of him, Faes, Vestergaard and Kristiansen who are all capable of dropping a clanger. Harry Winks giving the ball away a lot as well.

On the positive side, encouraging showing from the two debutants.

Fair enough it's an away game at least but Fulham are the sort of side we need to be picking up points against..

lacked quality in the final third, poor defensive play for both of their goals, JJ left us horribly exposed fir the second.
it will be a long hard season let's see what SC do in the mean time. We lose so much when Vardy comes off not sure how SC resolves it tbh.

I think we need to wait until the end of the window and allow Cooper to get his first choice 11 sorted. Until then it's going to be quite hit and miss.

We know this will be a struggle so hardly cause for panic. We need the midfield to keep the ball better and take the pressure off the defence.

Right result. They had more than us.

Nothing from Vardy and Buonanotte which meant we didn't threaten enough. Fatawu wasted all the best moments in attack.

Winks looks like he's sulking because his hero doesn't manage us any more.

We'll ship goals regularly too because we don't have enough PL level defenders.

A lot of work to do in the transfer market.

Well, that was a bit shit.

Positives: Skipp looked excellent when he came on. Calm, composed and clever with his play. We scored another goal and we looked quite decent from set pieces. That's about it for positives.

Negatives: Winks, JJ, Kristiansen, Reid and Buonanotte were all useless, Fatawu just wasteful. People can moan and groan all they like about our CBs, but the real truth is that both of Fulham's goals came from our FBs going ****ing walkabout. It was obvious in the first half that JJ was being overrun and we should have dealt with it at the break but we didn't and it cost us. It's the same with Reid; he should have been pulled much earlier for stinking the place out.

Ayew? Won a free kick. Then threw himself to the ground trying to con the ref again when he could have taken the ball in his stride and moved play forward. Then took a dreadful free kick. Then chased down the ball brilliantly to win us a corner. An odd debut but not a bad one or a great one.

Playing Ricardo might help.

A lackluster performance against a mediocre side which easily dominated us throughout. Our passing was woeful – Winks especially gave away the ball far too often. With 20 minutes to go and only a goal behind, I would have expected a bit more urgency – but other than a couple of bursts forwards from Fatawu, it was not to be.

To put our challenge into context, we've got the only point out of eighteen from the three promoted sides so far.

Along with Everton, these look to be the four worst sides in the league. Without our points deduction, it would be a scrap for 17th.

Battled to a lacklustre loss after creating nearly nothing. Exciting times.

Not a million miles off getting a good away point. Can we play Ricardo please. Easily one of our best players.

Piss poor, really

Still not sure what the plan is to actually go and score a goal - absolutely toothless and clueless going forward, and we look almost nailed on to concede at least one goal every game if we continue with this back four. It’s a recipe for relegation

Four halves of football played so far, and three of them have been pretty dire. Technically we appear to have gone backwards. Players can’t seem to play a simple ****ing pass and there is no coordination at all to pressing the opposition. It’s not great. At least the second half last week showed a bit of fire and determination. Today it was limp.

DCR has also looked piss poor so far - bit confused as to why Mavididi is being ignored.

And can we please buy a ****ing striker. Please, for ****s sake

I think many of you have unrealistic expectations about where we currently are as a team.

I thought I was supposed to be the negative one FFS.

Winks looks like he's sulking because his hero doesn't manage us any more.
Yeah it could be that.

Or… it could be that he is now playing at a higher level against better players. Or it could be that the that the opposition know that we want him to drop deep and get on the ball and devise a plan to counter that. Or it could be that he Just hasn’t played at his best in two games.

For all the sense that you post, you don’t half spout a load of bollocks too.

BN mentioning Enzo again… it’s just not healthy…
