Well played MA. I like it that he has also handed Clarke a 3-month deal to prove his worth. Excellent.

Just spoke to a sunderland fan who said he was gobsmacked that Roy Keane spent so much money on a new keeper when Fullop is a genuine class act.

Well done MA sounds like you have sorted the Keeper situation out with a keeper from the very top drawer :038: :038: :038:

hmmmm interesting. handing out 3 month trials now.obviously mm and ma have compromised and all is well again :056:

Or....

Roy Keane wasn't prepared to sell him. Doubt it though, I think this is MA at work and I also feel these are his signings.

Hopefully, MA and MM have made up. I reckon MM has told MA he has a certain amount of time to prove to him the club are moving in the right direction and will now butt out and let him do it. 10 games max, we've had one and lost it....

From Martin Allen
"I believe this is a significant signing for Leicester City. Marton travelled down to Leicester late on Tuesday night, met physio Dave Rennie yesterday morning for a medical, had a further fitness assessment and he is in tip-top condition and ready to rumble."

Pleased with the two signings!! At last some round pegs for round holes, just add a left midfielder and we'll be alright! :038:

All this mention of fitness assessments makes you wonder if Jimmy was prepared to take one? :102:

wat about thomas radinski and claus jensen, they both on free transfer

It's just a normal three month loan deal - same as we did last year with Welsh, Yeates and Glombard etc. etc.

It's not a 'trial' - he's in the feckin' squad for Saturday's game

He's just indulging in petty point scoring after the Hasselbaink embarrassment :icon_roll

I haven't said it's a trial. I know it's a deal, but I also think he has handed the player 3 months to prove his worth for exactly that reason, and I applaud that.

Same as Kelly did with Welsh, Yeates and Glombard.......

better than signing players on 2yr deals and finding out theyre shite and still having to pay their wages but i suppose you think its ok about the likes of hughes, maybury douglas et al still getting paid despite being shite...i really dont see the problem with giving players trials it works both ways..

It's not a trial it's just a normal loan deal FFS :icon_roll

And yes, the advantages are obvious - that's why every feckin' club in this league will go down this route during the season

i mentioned 'trial'
what i meant was a 3 month period to prove his worth.which is fine.

the month jfh was offered was not long enough imo.

the hasslebaink affair was embarassing and will become even more embarassing if he starts banging goals for someone else.
