Was thinking more that as both attendances of city and tigers have significantly increased since 7 may 2011 that was the exception to the rule and that both clubs will not be allowed to play on the same day again (regardless of differing kick off times).

The games wouldn't have been allowed on the same day then either, in normal circumstances. The only reason it happened is because it was the last game of the season for both teams. The games had to be played at that time, there was no way the times/dates could be changed. So if the same situation happens at some stage in the future, I'm sure the games would be allowed on the same day. The only other option would be to play one of the games at a different location.

Quite like the idea of a Christmas Eve game myself. Better than Boxing Day when everyone is hungover, constipated and in a lot of cases going back to work the next day. I bet the atmosphere on Christmas Eve would be great.

Now confirmed by Sky, home game against Man U is a 7-45 pm kick off on Sat the 23rd whilst the home game against Palace, now kicks of at 12-30 pm the previous Saturday the 16th (subject to Carabao Cup fixtures).

Meanwhile , the away game at Newcastle will now kick off at 5-30 pm and be shown live on BT Sport. So that's 3 consecutive Saturdays where games have been moved for TV.

Jesus. It’s as if they’ve already completely forgotten about the bore fest that was Monday night.

5.30 kick off in Newcastle must be every single travelling fan's dream.

It’s ****ed up my flights. Never imagined that game would be chosen for TV.

This came just hours after the ticket sale started for members, and I bought one. My heart jumped until I saw it was the best time it could have been moved to of the options for TV games. So I’ll be going.

Whilst the replay against Fleetwood hasn't been moved for TV, it will be shown live on BT Sport.
