Outside of the Maddison injury - which clearly is a mess in its own right, all of those are soft tissue injuries to players who didn’t go to the World Cup. For me, that’s an indictment of our “off season” methods.

It actually damaged the pack of soft tissues in his pocket. Now he’s out with the kind of chapped, sore skin you get from using bog roll to blow your nose.
