Highland how many games have you seen this season?
I have been none but Durrham has been all of them apart from a few, so I have no reason to argue with his view on Dublin.

So everything Durham says his true so unless you go week in week out you can't question his opinion.Members of my family go every home match and they say the same as me about Dublin. It's just opinions in the end...

I'm never going to agree with you on Dublin Durham so I'll let it rest.I don't like him, think he's a 'Fraud' who is desperate to get Levein's job at any cost aside from that I don't rate him as A footballer, never have, never will do.I believe Gerrbrand is our best Central Defender if only he could get a game.We will just have to agree to differ on this, not many agree with me I know and that's fair enough.

Rate him as a footballer or not he is the best one we have by miles. The rest are just a bunch of squad players.

It's all opinions, everbody has one. Like I have said, I am not Dublin's biggest fan but I challenge anyone to tell me of a better player in a city shirt this season.

I'm just questioning your second-hand opinion, Durham has a first-hand opinion. I'm bound to respect a first-hand opinion more.

I also agree that Dublin is one of the only players who seems to try and motivate the payers around him, granted his is prone to the hoof, but he gets stuck in and does seem to care. Also yesterday for 20 mins of the second half I thought Hughes was really trying to raise the tempo of the game and he was all over the pitch, unfortunately he either got tired or more likely pissed off at the fact no one else really seemed to give a shit.

Dublin's brother Ed is a good coach, he manages most of Riverside's school teams, they were playing my brother's team Beaumont Leys. Beaumont Leys were 3-0 up at half time and then Eddy gave em an inspiration team talk, they ended up drawing 3-3.

I say give Eddy Dublin the job.

Now, now, I wont have anything said against Eddie Dublin... he's a nice guy (and can play the drums a bit too) ;)

and I object to being called a Moron because I don't slag off Dion Dublin every week.... have to agree with Durham on this, he does appear to be the only one trying to "gee" people up, but then everyone sees the game differently

Like 2 peas in a pod eh Cate ;)

Leicester fans in general are all a bunch of moaning tossers. At away games there is no where near the level of moaning and bitching towards the players, but home matches...........wow thats a different kettle. I have been to every match this season except Cardiff and I genuinly believe that our poor home record is down to the attitude of the so called loyal home fans. On phone ins people call in with all sorts of beef but its obvious they have not been to a match in donkeys years. Now I am not saying they should not have an opinion but they should get facts right.
Anyone who thinks Dublin is not giving enough in matches need their heads examining, he is by far the best player we have at the moment and there are a few others too. MDV for example, the tosser fans get on his back for everything, so why at this point last season did they not get on Connollys back, who at the same stage had scored just once! MDV has netted several times giving a good goal to matches return.
Levein has done a good job so far, when he took over our average age was huge, our players now are much much younger but very inexperienced, which comes with playing games and they are gaining all the while. He has also signed the players on 3 year contracts not 12 month ones like MA, which gives a good foundation to at least build on. We wont go down but on the other hand we are not going up either. Its next season on which CL will be best looked on as to say should he stay or go. Maybe its some of the home fans who should feck off!

I had to get that one off.....

I suspect nearly everyone whos posted on this thread was'nt at the game on Saturday. We were a diffrent team. Dublin was insperational! De Vris even looked good and skinned some player about 5mins into the game. Kisnorbo was everywhere.

Its the fans that kill the games at home. They just get on the backs of the players much too quickly - we had a classy first half; but 5mins into the second half the fans were getting on the players backs.

Well said, thats exactly what I was trying to say:038::038:

Watford was magic! But the same players last night just did not deliver. They were playing at home though, with 20,000+ fans shouting abuse at them. Watford around 2000 fans cheering and getting behind them. I know where I would like to play.......away from home in front of the true fans

I would agree with the 'go home craig' thread if i felt as though we were playing badly. Ok so we weren't good last night, but Burnley didn't deserve to win. For most of the matches this season i feel we've been playing ok without getting the results. I know its all about results but surely things will change. Getting rid of craig is not the answer IMO just yet. If things are still the same at Xmas i may have to rethink that though!!

erm, so how come that was the first away win for ages?

specious reasoning

Most of the better football this season has been away from home, as you would know if you have been away. Crewe, Derby and Watford were very good team performances. Throw Shef Utd into that and you should know what I mean. We were the better team at Sheffield until the final 10 ins or so

:icon_sad: There are some 'true fans' who can only afford home matches.

But overall I'd agree with what people have been saying, I'd never boo my team, if I think they've not played well at the end I just don't clap.

I am starting to hate the majority of our home fans though, when I said some were morons earlier I wasn't talking about people on this forum! But rather some of the people who sit around me at matches (sadly usually blokes over 35, overweight, with baseball caps and gold chains) who keep quiet for the whole game then 5 minutes from the end start shouting 'You're rubbish Levein', 'Levein Out' etc. The ones who boo de Vries and clap sarcastically when he's subbed off. The ones who are quick to get on a young player's back when they misplace a pass (has happened around me with people like Stearman and Sheehan - in fact one guy behind me said 5 minutes into Sheehan's home debut 'this guy is rubbish, why are we playing him, he's not good enough to play football in my back garden'). For me it's becoming the most unenjoyable part of going to match, hearing all the moaning around me and negative attitude, because I feel like I'm on a different page to everyone. :099:

Oh well, I suppose when they all have their way and Levein goes, and we get someone like Peter Reid in and we get relegated at least then I'll be able to say 'I told you so'.... :085: :090:

I have been saying this since the start of the season.... why cant they just support the team? That is what we all pay our money for and we all want success, but while they continue to be so negative it aint gonna happen!
