Seen the goals now on east midlands news, they were taken well especially MDV goal and connoly's 3rd I thought. Havent seen highlights yet tho dunno if itv or skysports 1 have a highlights program scheduled.

We knew this anyway didn't we? His record speaks for itself. On Soccer AM, they used to do that 'average goals per game' chart and he was top of the list every single week!

There was a lot of discussion on here before the start of the season with regard him leaving and us needing to sign a 20 goal a season striker. I was refering to that in particular.

Connolly looks a superb player when I've seen him, has he played in the Premiership yet (I should know this, but somehow I don't)? He could be another one these players who's dynamite in the first - another ex-Jambo Ricardo Fuller seems to be in this mould - but wouldn't score five in the Premier League playing with Gerrard, Lampard, Robben and Wright-Phillips in the midfield (basically, a creative midfield).
