'keeper Lize Kop has joined Spurs. A real shame and I wish her the very best of luck, she's been outstanding for us.

We were blessed with having 2 sensational keepers, very little between them imho, and I had often wondered when/if one or the other would move on. Either would be worthy of being 1st pick in most WPL teams.

She's been fabulous lately. Bit of a stuttering start last season but fantastic late on. She'll be missed.

Lize has been a little less spectacular, both for better and worse than Janina, so it's been really tough on her to not get matches - I think it's telling that she's taking the #1 jersey for Spurs, who I think it's fair to say are a better team. We've been so utterly toothless in attack though with all the injuries, I don't know where we are with the salary cap but if this is what's needed to get a striker in that will save us from relegation we need to do it

In total agreement there, we have. I think we'll be safe from relegation either way but I too would like to see a striker come in.

I think Amandine has been experimenting with different players up front, and different systems, but nothing seems to be working out. Tbh, it makes it look to me like we're not making progress from last season's free flowing style. We looked so good pre-season in Aus so I know we're capable of it.
