Gradel Pens New Foxes Deal

Winger Max Gradel has signed a three-year extension to his Leicester City contract.

The 20-year-old's current deal was due to expire at the end of this season but he will now remain at the Walkers Stadium until June 2011.

The tricky Ivory Coast-born winger has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Foxes but is expected to have a bright future at the club.

He is currently on loan at AFC Bournemouth and has made 23 appearances for the Cherries to date.

Gradel, an Academy graduate, has found the back of the net six times at The Fitness First Stadium.

I remember Defoe going on loan to Bournemouth and scoring a lot

is he a right winger or left? he cut in from the left to score one of them...?

Gradel looks a bit lightweight to me , but hope he turns out to be an elusive swp sort of player. Would like to see him come back and potentially Sam Vokes come with him aswell. He's really useful apparently and might be a good fella to have in the reserves...

Remember when the reserves was actually a team with decent players in it who couldn't quite make it into the first team? Not so much now!

It seems strange that we have a right winger who is doing well in the league below, and yet are taking chances on players like etuhu. Especially earlier in the season when we were desperate for wingers to have a player like him out on loan is crazy.
